Amazing Grace Fashion Style by Frozen Hibiscus Berlin

It takes more than just a good eye for sewing a dress that can keep up with the classic gowns of Grace Kelly, Sophia Loren, Marilyn Monrie, Jane Russell and all other goddesses who made the fifties and sixties what they were: a constant source of inspiration for now and all future times. Even skills for cloth and sewing is not the main thing about making a legendary dress. I mean today, in times, where hotpants don’t even get close to cover your ass cheeks, having their pockets turned inside-out – something absolutely horrible for an aesthetic-loving vintage lover to look at. I mean, hotpants are okay…but please, keep them classy and stylish and keep an eye on how you look in them. Anyway… I wander from our subject: Actually I wanted to say that you need to LIVE the style, if you wanna make such pieces of clothing. Claudia Urbanek created the new summer collection “Grace” as an homage to the American actress Grace Kelly and was influenced by gracefulness, cool beauty, her own ambition and discipline, hidden passion and elegant glamorous chic.

Silk, satin and lace in strong or soft colours are integrated with much passion for the detail and give every woman a diva-esque glow. The Grace collection also includes some enchanting lingerie with high-quality lace décor. Frozen Hibiscus clings to its mission and brings retro and vintage designs into our times and lets us enjoy some creative fashion nostalgia two times a year. I myself am the owner of some of their works… I don’t even know which collection, but it is fun wearing it, because it is just so far away from the everyday-ordinary-kind of fashion. Pieces from the collections “Fifties Sweethearts”, “Berlin Mermaids”, “Let’s Boogie Baby!” and “Vintage Memories” are still available on Dawanda. Those of you who like to always get the newest thoughts of Claudia Urbanek and maybe like to meet her at the next rock’n’roll event should follow her blog, since her homepage is currently offline.
