Jungbluth – handmade Pin Up Fashion from Hamburg

From my favourite Berlin label Red Cat 7 now to a real good reason to head up north and visit Hamburg. The North of Germany truly isn’t located on the sunny side of life 😉 … however, the people up there are not less creative when it comes to rock’n’roll, corset and pin up fashion. Jungbluth Design definitely belong to the rock’n’roll labels that make your Hamburg visit expansive – not because the single pieces of the clothing line are that expensive… but because strolling around in the cute store will want you more and more. My first visit in the Hamburger more than 3 years ago was amazing and I won’t tell you a lot about all of those “little things” that I took back to Berlin 🙂 Swinging petticoats and tight-fitting pencil-skirts are part of the clothing lines as well as under-breast corsets and matching tops in traditional polka-dots, tartan, leo prints and cherry patterns. In addition to that you find ties, bandanas, purses and popular Jungbluth boats.

In the current clothing line of the Hamburger rock’n’roll you also find completely new materials. Amazing longsleeve lace shirts in transparent, leo and classical black are the new highlights of the current collection and build a bridge to neo burlesque with a touch of gothic chic. The fashion of Silvie Jungbluth is definitely an homage to femininity and to the feminine style of the 50s and 60s. The key factor, however, is the fact that the beautiful skirts, corsets and other things are “handmade in St. Pauli” – no oversee-import. Of course, Hamburg is a fancy city to just make a quick step for sightseeing and shopping, but for all of those who find the Northern metropolis a little too far away from home, can check out the new online shop. Not all of the amazing designs can be found there and browsing around in the product range is not a much fun as walking through the chic store… but the beautiful pieces of Jungbluth Designs are within reach.
