The Beautiful Darlings of Madame Sher

Oh my God. It has always been just so obvious. Why didnt someone else think of naming a corset collection after the greatest madames of film business? With her current collection „Beautfiul Darlings“ Madame Sher just did it and created some of the most wonderful shaping pieces. Since 2004 impressive masterpieces of corsetry are made in Sao Paolo, Brasil, always involving innovative materials and shapes. Elegance and comfort are in the main focus of this Haute Couture, which was created out of love for the female silhouette and the fact that until 1998 there hadn’t existed any sewing art like this. Even the fasteners had to be custom-created by a silver smith because there were none to buy. Unbelievable, but true :).

Designing her corsets, Sher Leandra Rios puts a special eye on involving breathable materials for the skin-touching corsets. And, of course, there are no limits to the diversity of design possibilities: Individual ideas are turned into clothes with a great amount of passion for the detail and creativity. These corsets are nothing for your private bedroom, they belong right on the red carpets of the world. Of course, Madame Sher ships worldwide. But, now after all those formal infos, here’s the ultimate highlight: I love the idea of naming the single pieces after the great divas of film business. Brigitte Bardot, Norma Shearer, Ava Gargner, Ingrid Bergman, Ursula Andrews, Lana Turner and so on. Each one of the 17 amazing pieces would be a total pearl for me and could easily take it on with my all time favourite Bibian Blue. Lace cloth melt in with tricky cuts to elegant corsets. Frills, artful details, medaillons and pearl necklaces will complete the look just like a great matching skirt.

Sometimes I am really thankful for the socialization that brought me and my column to getting to know such wonderful couture designers. Those of you who like to get virtually enchanted by Sher Leandra Rios should take a closer look at her website and, of course, become a fan of her Facebook page. Beceause here, single unique pieces are sometimes offered in SALE.
