This fashion blog is all about alternative fashion explosions and exclusive burlesque highlights. This means the label I am going to introduce to you today is perfectly matching, since my heart, of course, beats for traditional Dirndl fashion, as you might have already realized. And just as it appears to me over and over again, today’s Dirndls are so far away from the old and boring traditional “Tracht” of yesterday. As a daughter of textile designer and tailor Gabriele Urabl already dared very early to create her puppets something very special and consequently caused a clash in style with the conventions of common Trachten fashion with her clothing line in 2010. For her unique pieces she for example combines several wonderfully printed retro fabrics, and her products underpin Rock’n’Roll, pin-up lifestyle or flower power generation for women that are looking for something extravagant, extraordinary and cheeky.

I love such breaks and in my opinion the clothes from Dirndherz are high-quality pieces of art that are definitely different to the average Dirndl of traditional labels. Did I already mention that every Dirndl that she produces is a hand-made unique copy from Vienna? Well, I myself was totally stoked when I found her amazing webseite. Now I already have several different designer Dirndl hanging in my closet, but for these pretty pieces I could definitely get weak for one more time. Her little charming store in Lerchenfelder Straße 55 in beautiful Vienna is absolutely inviting and I will definitely stop by during my next visit in the Austrian metropolis – and this is what you guys should do, too! Because the Dirndls from Dirndlherz are the perfect choice for every season, that’s for sure.
